New Classes for 2020 at Pilates Hub

A new year, a new decade, a new Pilates class. I'm so very excited to be setting up 3 brand new classes at the wonderful Pilates Hub in Truro in the New year so I thought I'd take an opportunity to shout about this beautiful gem of a studio right in the heart of the City.


Situated in the Old Bakery Studios down on the beautiful Truro riverside, the studio is cosy, intimate and perfectly formed. With a full timetable including mat classes for every level and equipment sessions to boot there is something for everyone, in fact it's where I go myself to get my own Pilates fix! And did I mention the underfloor heating? OH THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING! It is worth heading down there on a cold winters night just for that cosiness - although there is so much more to tempt you down there.

My own classes will be starting early in the New Year from Sunday the 5th Jan, giving you just enough time to recover from the festivities and to get your brain into 'new beginnings' mode.


My mini timetable will look something like this...


Sundays

10am - 11am - Beginner

£10 per class (booked by the term)

Ideal for those who have never tried Pilates before or for anyone that would like to re-visit the foundations of the practice and work on improving technique and form.  We will explore the basic exercises that form the building blocks of many of the classic Pilates repertoire. We’ll be exploring breathing patterns, correct and safe alignment of the body, co-ordination of movement as well as the stability and mobility of all the joints in the body.


Mondays

2pm - 3pm - Mixed Ability

£10 per class (booked by the term)

Gentle but effective full body conditioning class based on Body Control Pilates principles to improve your strength and flexibility, posture, coordination and overall freedom of movement.

These classes are suitable for all abilities as the exercises can be modified for any experience level, providing as much of a challenge as your body needs.  


Mondays

4pm - 5pm - Parent & Teen

£16 per class, per parent and teen pair (booked by the term)

An hour of stress free Pilates for you and your teen to take part in together.  In this small and friendly class we will focus on improving posture, coordination and overall body awareness - ideal for adults and teenagers alike.  Through exercising many of the forgotten muscles in the body, we will attempt to offset the hours spent sitting at school, work and home, and exercise towards developing a strong balanced body.
