Private Sessions

If you are new to Pilates and are not sure whether you would like to join a group class, or if you would just prefer to work on a one-to-one basis, you can book an hour long session that is individually tailored to your needs and objectives.  One-to-one sessions are hugely beneficial as we work closely together to improve movement technique and form. I provide hands-on feedback throughout, allowing for greater progression in the exercises and a greater knowledge of the Pilates method.

 

Private sessions also give you the chance to work on Pilates Studio Equipment, which in my studio includes the Reformer, the Half Cadillac (tower), and the Wunda Chair. Working on these can greatly enhance your practice through the use of springs, designed to offer resistance and assistance to your movements.  They also provide proprioceptive feedback for your body, which can greatly enhance your body awareness.

Private sessions may include matwork, equipment work, or a combination of both, depending on your individual needs.

I can also offer two-to-one sessions if you would like to partner up with a friend.  Please contact me for details.

 

Sessions are held in my home studio in central Truro.
